I will conduct my practice of Therapeutic Touch in accordance with the generally accepted principles of Therapeutic Touch™ as developed by Dolores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N., and Dora Kunz. In advance of treatment sessions, I will make clear to the client any fees which I will charge for my service and I will ensure that all interpersonal transactions between me and the client are non-exploitive and essential to her/his care. I acknowledge that Therapeutic Touch may increase the rapport between the client and the practitioner. Therefore, I will keep all information in strict confidence. No one can be present at a treatment without the expressed permission of the client. I will not use Therapeutic Touch as a basic for psychotherapy, spiritual or other counselling, unless I have the training and qualifications to do so, as well as permission of the client. I will focus on the needs of the client and will refrain from discussing any of my problems or personal issues. I will regularly evaluate my strengths, limitations and levels of effectiveness. I will strive for self-improvement and seek to enhance my abilities by means of further education and training. In any Therapeutic Touch session, I will maintain the highest integrity, keeping the interest of the client foremost, and I will conduct all sessions in a manner that upholds the reputation of the Therapeutic Touch throughout the world. I will not hold the Therapeutic Touch Network of Quebec responsible for any consequences resulting from my practice of Therapeutic Touch. I understand that, should the Therapeutic Touch Network of Quebec receive any complaints about me or my sessions, I will be notified of that complaint. If, after due process of investigation, a respectful resolution of any associated problems cannot be achieved, the TTNQ has the right to withdraw my name from the List of members and/or my Recognized Practitioner Status may be removed. |

| Je pratiquerai le Toucher thérapeutique conformément aux principes généralement reconnus du Toucher thérapeutique tels qu’établis par Dolores Krieger Ph.D. Inf.aut. et Dora Kunz. Avant de commencer un traitement, j’expliquerai clairement au client tous les frais relatifs à mes services et m’assurerai que tous les traitements prodigués sont essentiels au client. Je reconnais que le Toucher thérapeutique peut amener un climat de complicité entre le client et le praticien. Pour cette raison, je m’assurerai de respecter la confidentialité de tout renseignement. Nul ne peut être présent lors d’un traitement, sauf si le client en fait la demande expresse. Je ne me servirai pas du Toucher thérapeutique comme moyen, soit pour faire de la psychothérapie ou pour apporter un soutien spirituel ou autres, à moins d’avoir, au préalable, obtenu la permission du client et d’avoir la formation et les compétences requises pour le faire. Je concentrerai mes efforts sur les besoins du client et je m’abstiendrai de discuter de mes propres problèmes ou de mes situations personnelles. J’évaluerai régulièrement mes forces, mes limites et mon niveau d’efficacité à traiter. Je m’efforcerai de m’améliorer continuellement et d’accroître mes habiletés par une formation continue. Lors de tout traitement, je maintiendrai la plus haute intégrité, je m’assurerai de donner priorité aux intérêts du client et je dirigerai toute session de manière à promouvoir la réputation mondiale de respectabilité du Toucher thérapeutique. Je ne tiendrai pas le Réseau du Toucher thérapeutique du Québec responsable de toute conséquence découlant de ma pratique du Toucher thérapeutique. Le Réseau du Toucher thérapeutique du Québec m’avisera de toute plainte reçue soit sur moi et/ou les traitements prodigués et/ou ma pratique. Si, suite à une enquête en bonne et due forme, les problèmes rapportés ne sont pas résolus d’un commun accord et dans le respect, le RTTQ se réserve le droit de retirer mon nom de la liste des membres, ainsi que de me destituer du titre de praticien reconnu. |
